Désorme Joazar took up arms at Monbin Crochu against Michel Oreste

Haitian

MONBIN CROCHU. It was at Monbin Crochu that General Désorme Joazar, of Vallière, took up arms, on 1 January 1914, against President Michel Oreste in favor of General Oreste Zamor. This insurrection brought about the fall of Michel Oreste, who embarked at Port-au-Prince on 27 January. The Revolution entered Port-au-Prince triumphant on Sunday 8 February 1914.

Rouzier tells this under the entry MONBIN CROCHU.
