Deputy proposes a military post at Trou Gens de Nantes
Haitian
TROU GENS DE NANTES (le). Sixth rural section of the commune of Ouanaminthe, arrondissement of Fort-Liberté. Rural school. It is a subdivision of the rural section of la Savane Longue, consecrated in 1875. In the session of 7 July 1890 of the Chamber, the deputy J. Ed. Etienne proposed to erect it into a poste militaire and to establish a market at the Ravine Baptiste, which forms part of it. This proposal was put off to better times in view of the state of the finances of the Republic.
Rouzier tells this under the entry TROU GENS DE NANTES (le).
