Deputy proposes $10,000 for embanking the Jean-Rabel river
Haitian
JEAN-RABEL. The river is a perpetual danger to the population. At each rise of the waters it causes considerable losses by carrying off houses, animals and men. It is to be foreseen that a catastrophe will one day sweep away this bourg. In the session of the Chamber of 1 September 1893, Deputy S. Célestin the elder proposed voting $ 10,000 for its embankment.
Rouzier tells this under the entry JEAN-RABEL.
