Haitian

HAVING seen by the Conseil the petition of Doré, Doyen of the Notaires of the Jurisdiction of the Cap and Greffier of the Subdélégation, with the conclusions of the Procureur-Général du Roi, stating that after conferring with the General and the Intendant, and learning from the Intendant that in the district of the Conseil Supérieur of Port-au-Prince executed nègres are reimbursed to the enslavers at the rate of 1200 livres, nothing prevents the petitioner from being reimbursed the price of the enslaved man in question at the rate of 1200 livres; having heard the report of M. Delaye, Conseiller, and everything considered: THE COURT, having regard to the said petition, has ordered and does order that the petitioner shall be reimbursed from the Treasury of the executed duties the price of the said nègre Michel, in question, at the rate of 1200 livres.
