LOUIS, etc. Between the sieur Garcia, Spaniard, of the one part; and the sieur Gouesse, Spaniard, of the other: THE COURT, on the principal matter, amending, sentences the Party of Baudry (Gouesse) to pay and reimburse to that of Carles (Garcia) the sum of 1,500 livres for the price of the nègre in question, (proved to have died mad within 6 months of the sale, according to a certificate of the Chirurgien-Major) with interest on the said sum and costs.
