DECREE of the Conseil du Cap, forbidding that nègres seized in execution be placed anywhere other than in the Prisons

BETWEEN the sieur Lange Jousserand, &c… of the one part, and the sieur de Belleville, of the other part. Having seen, &c… ruling on the request of the Procureur Général, the CONSEIL orders that in the future, when nègres are seized in execution, they shall not be transferred to or kept anywhere other than in the royal Prisons.
