Haitian

ON the petition presented to the King, being in his Conseil, by the sieur Morisseau d’Ester, Settler of the Artibonite, stating that he has recourse to the King’s authority against an Ordinance of the General and the Intendant of Saint-Domingue, which tends to remove the enslaved from the authority of their enslavers, and from the solemnities required by the laws to make the grant of their freedom valid.
