Christophe’s troops appear at Lalue and are driven back by Petion

On 26 March 1812 Christophe’s troops made their appearance at Lalue to invest Port-au-Prince. Pétion drove them back with cannon fire from the government fort (Riché).

Rouzier tells this under the entry LALUE.
