Cadastral Commission reports on State ownership of Hatte Lathan
Haitian
HATTE LATHAN. Habitation of 150 carreaux of land. On 21 February 1925 the central Cadastral Commission addressed to the Secretary of State for the Interior a report, published in the Moniteur of 24 September 1925, denouncing the confusion of alleged owners of this habitation. It concluded that the State had never failed to act as owner of this property, as witness the conditional concessions it has had to issue regularly to various citizens and the various surveying operations it has had carried out there without any opposition; and that the State must maintain its right of ownership over the Hatte Lathan, employing every useful means.
Rouzier tells this under the entry HATTE LATHAN.
