Cacos enter Port-au-Prince and are repulsed by gendarmes

Haitian

PONT BEUDET. In the night of Wednesday 8 October 1919, the Cacos entered Pont Beudet and killed Louis Laforestrie, Thomas Price junior and Luc Pauyo. Two days before, they had entered Port-au-Prince, but the gendarmes drove them back about 5 o’clock in the morning.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PONT BEUDET.
