Bolívar obtains aid from Pétion and sails from Les Cayes

On 28 December 1815, Bolivar, the liberator of Colombia and Venezuela, obtained from Pétion assistance in money, munitions of war and provisions, and set out again from the Cayes with a flotilla and men.
