A secret committee at Port-au-Prince voted, on Leremboure’s proposal and with the assent of Bauvais, Lambert and Pinchinat against Rigaud, Daguin and Pétion, to deport the suisses to the coast of the Mosquitos; they were disarmed and put aboard ship.
