1938: (Integrating Multiple Ways of Knowing into Definitions of Haitian Womanhood: Through Her Attention to Multiple Ways of Knowing Created and Perfected by Women Comhaire-Sylvain Encouraged Women to Draw Closer to One Another Through Mutual Awareness and Integrating This Thinking into Their Definitions of Haitian Womanhood, the Feminist Project Being the Triangulation Between Research Method and Archive, the Story Showing Adelsia’s Life and Seeing Adelsia and Comhaire-Sylvain Together Navigating Reconciling and Sharing on the Feminist Pages): Through her attention to multiple ways of knowing, created and perfected by women, Comhaire-Sylvain encouraged women to draw closer to one another through mutual awareness and integrating this thinking into their definitions of Haitian womanhood. Beyond a representation of Haitian women’s different life experiences, Comhaire-Sylvain’s work offered instruction on how to think and do Haitian feminism. The feminist project was the triangulation between research, method, and archive.
