1808: Insurrection aboard the Hibernia, bound for Demerara (voyage 81835)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Demerara in 1808, the people aboard the Hibernia rose against the crew. They had been taken at Sierra Leone estuary.

The record gives the numbers as: 247 people were embarked; 222 were landed.
