1794-Dec.-05: André Rigaud led a pre-dawn attack with two thousand men in three columns to attempt the recovery of Fort Bizotton. The assault was repulsed with great slaughter to the enemy, though Captain Grant and his lieutenants were severely wounded in the defense.
