1792: Insurrection aboard the Mermaid, bound for Grenada (voyage 18152)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Grenada in 1792, the people aboard the Mermaid rose against the crew. They had been taken at Gambia.

The record gives the numbers as: 159 people were embarked; 129 were landed; 30 died on the crossing.
