1791: Insurrection aboard the Victorieux, bound for Basse-Terre (voyage 31991)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Basse-Terre in 1791, the people aboard the Victorieux rose against the crew. They had been taken at Gabon.

The record gives the numbers as: 141 people were embarked; 107 were landed.
