1790: Insurrection aboard the Phénix, bound for Saint-Marc (voyage 31291)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Saint-Marc in 1790, the people aboard the Phénix rose against the crew. They had been taken at Loango.

The record gives the numbers as: 466 people were embarked; 460 were landed; 6 died on the crossing.
