The estate, formerly belonging to the late Pierre Bouyer, consisted of approximately 70 carreaux of land. It featured 20,000 coffee trees reported to be in relatively good condition at the time of the liquidation. Such public auctions were essential for settling colonial successions and redistributing agricultural resources within the Northern Province.
