1767-Feb.-04: Maritime logs recorded the arrival of several major merchant vessels in French ports after successful voyages from Saint-Domingue. Ships such as La Liberté reached Marseille, while the Saint-Marc, Maillat, and Printems arrived in Bordeaux from Port-au-Prince. Additionally, vessels like L’Inconstante and L’Artibonite docked at Le Havre and La Rochelle, carrying the accumulated wealth of the colony’s northern and western plains. These arrivals completed the commercial loop, delivering colonial sugar and indigo to European distributors and consumers.
