Le compromis (qui doit être fait par acte devant notaire, ou sous signature privée) désignera les objets en litige et les noms des arbitres, qui devront être en nombre impair; à peine de nullité.

Life lesson: The arbitration agreement — notarized or privately signed — must name the disputed issues and an odd number of arbitrators. Miss either and it's void.
Notes: Compromis form: acte devant notaire or sous signature privée. Mandatory contents: objets en litige + arbitre names (odd number). Nullity sanction. Ensures decisional capacity.
