La mort dissout de droit toute société, à moins qu'il ne convienne aux héritiers et associés survivans de la prolonger.

Life lesson: Death ends the partnership — unless the heirs and survivors agree to carry on.
Notes: Death → automatic dissolution. Exception: heirs + survivors agree to continuation. Same as civil law (Art. 1229).
