La communauté se dissout, par la mort naturelle ou civile, la démence, la fureur, l'imbécillité, et les maux incurables contagieux, tels que la ladrerie, le punais et l'épilepsie, ou par la séparation des biens.

Life lesson: Death, insanity, incurable disease, or legal separation — these end the community.
Notes: Grounds for dissolution: death (natural/civil), mental incapacity, incurable contagious diseases (leprosy, etc.), separation of property. Haitian medical grounds broader than Code Napoléon.
