La personne déjà engagée par le mariage avec l'une des parties qui voudrait contracter un second mariage, au mépris d'un premier existant, a le droit d'y former opposition.

Life lesson: The first spouse has the absolute right to stand before the law and say: this person is still mine.
Notes: Standing to oppose bigamous marriages belongs first to the existing spouse. A direct enforcement mechanism for Article 64's prohibition on bigamy.
