Les dispenses d'âge accordées par sa grâce monseigneur l'archevêque, peuvent seules autoriser un mariage contracté par l'homme avant dix-huit ans accomplis, et par la femme avant quinze ans révolus.

Life lesson: Youth may marry only with the blessing of the highest spiritual authority. Age is the first guardian of consent.
Notes: Minimum marriage ages: 18 for men, 15 for women. Dispensation exclusively from the Archbishop — not a civil authority. The church controls the exception to age requirements, reflecting its central role in Henrician marriage law.
