Les dispositions par testament, sont ou universelles, ou à titre universel, ou à titre particulier. Ces dispositions, sous quelque dénomination que le testateur ait manifesté sa volonté, ne pourront avoir d'effet que d'après les règles ci-après établies, soit pour les legs universels, soit pour les legs à titre universel, soit pour les legs à titre particulier.
