L'action en rescision pour fraude ou violence, ne peut plus être intentée par le cohéritier qui a aliéné tout ou partie de son lot, postérieurement à la découverte de la fraude, ou à la cessation de la violence.

Life lesson: Sell your lot after learning of the fraud, and you lose the right to rescind — alienation after knowledge is ratification.
Notes: Forfeiture of rescission: co-heir who alienates lot after discovering fraud or after violence ceases cannot bring rescission action. Alienation = ratification. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 892.
