Succession Law
Titre XV: Des Successions (On Successions)

Life lesson: Renounce, and your share grows the shares of your co-heirs. If you are the only one, the next degree inherits.
Notes: Accretion from renunciation: share accrues to co-heirs, or if sole heir, devolves to next degree. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 786.
