Des Successions irrégulières

Succession Law
Titre XV: Des Successions (On Successions)
Chapitre IV: Des Successions irrégulières (On Irregular Successions)

L'enfant naturel décédé sans postérité ou sans frères, sœurs ou descendans d'eux, sa succession sera dévolue au père ou à la mère qui l'aura reconnu, au préjudice des oncles et tantes, et autres collatéraux.

Life lesson: When the natural child dies without issue or siblings, his estate returns to the recognizing parent — uncles, aunts, and other relatives are excluded.
Notes: Reverse succession of natural child: without issue or siblings, estate → recognizing parent (père/mère), excluding uncles/aunts/collaterals. Recognition creates reciprocal succession rights. Cf. Code Napoléon Art. 765–766.
