Des Meubles

Property Law
Titre XI: De la Distinction et de la Nature des Biens (On the Distinction and Nature of Property)
Chapitre II: Des Meubles (On Movable Property)

Les biens sont meubles par leur nature ou par la détermination de la Loi.

Life lesson: Movable property has two sources: nature, which makes things transportable, and law, which declares certain rights to be movable by definition.
Notes: Two categories of movable property: by nature (physically transportable) and by legal determination (obligations, actions, rents). Mirrors the immovable trichotomy of Art. 254.
