Des Immeubles

Property Law
Titre XI: De la Distinction et de la Nature des Biens (On the Distinction and Nature of Property)
Chapitre I: Des Immeubles (On Immovable Property)

Les animaux des hattes et corails sont des meubles.

Life lesson: Ranch animals and corral livestock — unlike those attached to a plantation by contract — remain movable. They roam, and so does their legal status.
Notes: Hattes (ranches/cattle farms) and corails (corrals) — Haitian-specific terms. Animals in these settings are movable because they are not contractually attached to a specific agricultural operation. Cf. Art. 258.
