De l'Interdiction

Family Law
Titre X: De la Majorité, de l'Interdiction et du Conseil judiciaire (On Majority, Interdiction, and Judicial Counsel)
Chapitre II: De l'Interdiction (On Interdiction)

Le tuteur d'un interdit, excepté les époux et les descendans, n'est pas tenu de conserver la tutelle au-delà de dix ans ; ce temps écoulé, il peut demander et doit obtenir son remplacement.

Life lesson: Ten years of guardianship is enough to ask for relief — unless you are the spouse or the child. For them, the duty has no end.
Notes: 10-year maximum service for non-family guardians. Spouses and descendants have unlimited obligation. Mandatory replacement upon request after 10 years. Recognizes the burden of long-term guardianship while preserving family duty.
