Le conseil de famille est tenu de nommer un subrogé tuteur dans quelque tutelle que ce soit. Les devoirs de ce subrogé tuteur sont de défendre les intérêts du mineur, toutes les fois qu'ils se trouveront en opposition avec ceux du tuteur.

Every guardian needs a watchman. The surrogate guardian exists to speak for the child when the guardian cannot be trusted to.
