Chapitre III: Des Causes qui interrompent ou qui suspendent le cours de la Prescription (On Causes Interrupting or Suspending Prescription)

La caution ne pourra prescrire, lorsque le principal débiteur aura été interpellé en justice, ou qu'à son égard l'interruption a eu lieu de quelque manière que ce soit.

Life lesson: Interrupt the prescription against the debtor and you interrupt it against the surety too.
Notes: Surety's prescription interrupted by principal debtor's interruption. Accessory follows principal.
