Le mort-gage ne peut préjudicier aux droits d'un tiers, sur l'immeuble remis au créancier, et si celui-ci a d'ailleurs des privilèges ou hypothèques bien conservés, il les exercera en son ordre comme les autres créanciers.

Life lesson: An immovable pledge doesn't trump third-party rights on the property — and the creditor's other secured claims keep their normal rank.
Notes: Third-party protection: mort-gage does not prejudice third-party rights on the immovable. Creditor's other privileges/mortgages: exercised in normal rank. No super-priority from antichresis.
