Le mandat ou la procuration finit : Par la révocation du mandataire ; Par la renonciation du mandataire au mandat ; Par la mort naturelle, l'interdiction ou la faillite du mandant ou du mandataire.

Life lesson: A mandate ends three ways: the principal revokes, the agent resigns, or either party dies, is interdicted, or goes bankrupt.
Notes: Three grounds for mandate termination: (1) revocation by principal, (2) renunciation by mandatary, (3) death/interdiction/bankruptcy of either party. Intuitu personae contract.
