Plusieurs personnes ayant constitué un mandataire pour une affaire qui leur est commune, sont solidairement tenues envers ce dernier de toutes les obligations résultantes du mandat.

Life lesson: Multiple principals who share an agent are jointly and severally liable to that agent for all mandate obligations.
Notes: Solidarity of co-principals toward mandatary: automatic (unlike co-mandataries per Art. 1337). Protects agent serving multiple principals.
