Il ne peut y avoir de solidarité entre plusieurs mandataires nommés par le même acte, que dans le cas que ce mandat en fît mention expresse.

Life lesson: Joint agents aren't automatically jointly liable — solidarity requires an express clause in the mandate.
Notes: No implied solidarity among co-mandataries. Express stipulation required. Default = divided liability.
