Lorsqu'un prêt est de choses qui se consomment par l'usage, à la charge de rendre même espèce, qualité et quantité, c'est un prêt de consommation, ou simple prêt.

Lend things that get used up — sugar, grain, money — and the borrower must return the same kind and quantity.
Notes:
Definition of mutuum: consumable things, obligation to return equivalent (same species, quality, quantity). Ownership transfers to borrower.
