Le preneur ne peut prétendre à jouir de la chose louée, après la fin du bail, quoiqu'il ait continué sa jouissance, lorsqu'il y a eu un congé qui lui a été signifié.

Life lesson: If you received formal notice to leave, staying on doesn't create a new lease — your right to occupy is over.
Notes: Congé served → no tacit renewal despite holdover. Formal notice cuts off any implied continuation. Contrasts with Art. 1151.
